David Bowen is a principal and practice leader in Grant Thornton’s Transfer Pricing practice. He is based in the Washington National Tax Office. Bowen previously worked on federal income tax planning, tax controversies and transfer pricing as a partner at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw. He worked for five years in the Office of the IRS Associate Chief Counsel (International) — two years with the Advance Pricing Agreement Program and three years as special counsel. In addition, he worked on federal income tax controversies in the Washington, D.C., offices of Dewey Ballantine LLP, and Baker & McKenzie.
