Dan Barrón is an Audit partner in Grant Thornton's Dallas office and the office's lead partner for government services. He has more than 17 years of experience providing financial statement and single audits for state and local governmental, not for-profit, and higher education entities.
Barrón has served large entities including several large educational and governmental organizations in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area. He has a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations associated with not-for-profit accounting, auditing and A-133 single audits. Barrón has also led several large A-133 engagements, and has also served city and state governments on advisory projects related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
