Jacqueline Akerblom is managing partner of Grant Thornton LLP’s West region, which comprises 14 offices in the western United States. Grant Thornton LLP is the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, one of the world’s leading organizations of independent audit, tax and advisory firms. Akerblom, a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team and has served in multiple leadership roles within Grant Thornton including the managing partner of the firm’s Southern California practice and the national managing partner of Women’s Initiatives and Programs. A past elected member of the firm’s Partnership Board, she also spent four years in Grant Thornton International Ltd.’s London office serving as an advisor to U.S. and European companies on cross-border transactions.
She is a certified public accountant in California, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a member of the University of San Diego School of Business dean’s advisory board and the CEO Roundtable at the University of California, Irvine. She currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Forum for Corporate Directors; Girl Scouts of Orange County and Goodwill of Orange County.
