Grant Thornton statement on combatting anti-Semitism

To our clients and neighbors,

At Grant Thornton, we firmly condemn human hate crimes and intimidations. We are deeply troubled by the recent rise of anti-Semitic threats and violence across the United States, and we fully support efforts to end these heinous attacks. To our colleagues, friends, clients and community members affected by this violence: We stand by you and you are not alone.

Just as Grant Thornton is continuing to accelerate our commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace for our people, we are also striving to be a force for positive change in our communities. Earlier this year, the Grant Thornton Foundation announced a three-year financial commitment to organizations dedicated to fighting the pernicious and rising incidents of hatred plaguing our nation. It is up to all of us to combat bias and injustice, and Grant Thornton will continue to do its part.

We do this work for our Jewish-American colleagues, neighbors and everyone touched by hatred. Every person deserves respect, dignity and the freedom to live life without fear. Together, we can create the more equitable communities America deserves.
