CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Grant Thornton LLP is calling for nominations to the Grant Thornton North Carolina 100® (NC100) program, which recognizes the substantial impact of private companies in North Carolina. Since 1984, the NC100 has ranked the state’s largest private companies by revenue in the most recent fiscal year. Applications are being accepted now through July 20.
“The Grant Thornton NC100 program has recognized top-performing private companies in North Carolina for 34 years, and we are excited to call for nominations to our 2018 program,” said Dave Wedding, Southeast Region Managing Partner, Grant Thornton LLP. “We love recognizing the tremendous talent and innovation of entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses and other hardworking people in our state as part of our annual program.”
The top 10 companies in the 2017 NC100 were in building-related industries. Collectively, the 100 private companies recognized in last year’s list employed nearly 105,000 people.
To participate, companies must be privately-held. Winners will be featured in the October issue of Business North Carolina, North Carolina’s largest business magazine.
