Grant Thornton names Kelly Schindler as St. Louis Office Managing Partner

ST. LOUIS — Grant Thornton LLP has named Kelly Schindler as office managing partner in St. Louis, effective today. 

“Kelly epitomizes drive, focus and accountability,” said Wally Gruenes, Grant Thornton’s regional managing partner, Central region. “In her seven years at Grant Thornton, she has made a remarkable impact on our clients, staff and community, and we know she will be an asset to our St. Louis office as managing partner.”

As an Audit partner, Schindler has more than 17 years of experience in public accounting, both internationally and domestically, across several consumer and industrial products practices. She is a technical accounting specialist and focuses on revenue recognition standards.

Schindler received her bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University, where she currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board. She also serves as chairman on the board of Lift for Life Gym, a nonprofit organization in St. Louis serving over 400 inner-city youth. Additionally she is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Missouri, and member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs.
