SAN JOSE, CA—Grant Thornton LLP will celebrate the grand opening of its new Silicon Valley office, located at 10 Almaden Blvd., suite 800, in San Jose on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
“In a region defined by innovation, we are pleased to unveil our new office, complete with leading edge technologies and dramatic design, to support our client engagements and people,” said Jacqueline Akerblom, Grant Thornton’s West region managing partner. “Our new space enhances our service offerings by providing our people with multiple options for collaboration, including team rooms and multipurpose spaces, as well as quiet rooms and individual workstations for independent projects.”
“Grant Thornton has been a part of the Silicon Valley community for decades, and we are continually looking for opportunities to support local businesses and organizations,” said Tony Perazzo, Grant Thornton’s California market leader. “At our grand opening event, we will be supporting Able Works, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping individuals with financial education and skills to enable them to live free from oppression and poverty, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Greater Bay Area chapter, which is focused on finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.”
Designed with an eye for collaboration, Grant Thornton occupies the entire eighth floor of its new office building and can accommodate more than 175 employees in its 18,000 square feet. The office features multipurpose space, modern conference and training rooms, a game room, state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities and collaborative technologies.
