Tax professionals Meet Marvin Smith, a SALT Manager at Grant Thornton’s Tampa office

Marvin Smith is a State and Local Tax (SALT) manager in Grant Thornton's Tampa office. Though he is new to Grant Thornton, Marvin brings expertise in indirect and direct side of taxes which includes experience in sales and use taxes, property taxes, income tax compliance and managing audits.

Marvin’s industry experience includes working with clients in the manufacturing and distribution, environmental and waste management, retail and consumer, construction and real estate sectors.

Marvin earned a bachelor of science degree from the Kelley School of Business of Indiana University. Marvin has a CPA license and is a member of the AICPA.
