Meet Randy Holloway, a SALT Principal at Grant Thornton’s Atlanta office
Randy Holloway is a SALT principal in Grant Thornton's Atlanta office. Randy primarily engages in issues involving dispute resolutions involving sales and use tax audits, negotiating taxing authority settlement agreements, and supporting clients with taxability research.
Randy has served clients in a wide variety of industries, with a specific focus on manufacturing, power generation, transportation and technology businesses. Randy just served as a sales tax industry specialist with the Georgia Association of Manufacturers, playing a pivotal role in helping get legislation passed adopting the Integrated Plant Theory approach for identifying exempt property, used by Georgia manufacturers. Also, Randy recently negotiated use taxes related to a major construction project in Georgia.
Randy earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, where he achieved his CMI Professional Designation in 1995. Randy is a member of the AICPA, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, the Georgia Association of Manufacturers and the Council on State Taxation.
