It’s a wide world at Grant Thornton
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, I was limited by a job role, producing quality work but experiencing little professional growth. I needed to make a move, but I didn’t expect much of that to significantly change. But, at Grant Thornton, I found a different, more rewarding career.
I have choices among opportunities
My coaches are always on the lookout for opportunities that may be a good fit for me. I was nominated to serve an instrumental role on a project where I enhanced collaboration and increased profitability of one of our largest compliance services. In the process, I managed the development and delivery of a training program for over 60 CPE credits. This is just one of the opportunities that have helped me learn new skills and grow professionally.
“My advice to someone beginning their career is to start early with developing and maintaining relationships, accept opportunities presented to you — without second-guessing — never be afraid to ask for help and think of yourself as a lifelong learner.”

I am an explorer
In a career- and life-changing assignment in our Bangalore office, I assisted in developing solutions to increase the effectiveness of operations and conducted employee training that enhanced our service delivery model — with helpful U.S. and India teammates at every turn. I learned new and creative ways to conduct business, and traveling in that amazing country expanded my cultural awareness. A path forward opened up.
My career journey is well supported
I am surrounded by supportive leaders who are focused on forming quality relationships. They foster an environment where I am empowered and my efforts are recognized and rewarded. Their support and rich opportunities have helped me master collaborating across cultures and service lines, and given me the confidence to make bold decisions. My workdays are fulfilling and taking me in the right direction — wherever in the world or firm that may be!

When embarking on a new adventure or experience like starting a work project, reorganizing at home, traveling or recreating an Ina Garten dinner party recipe.
